Hey Ron, Dave, Carla and Steve! Thanks so much for the congrats, but more so for the support and encouragement I get from you guys.(luv ya all) Now to tell the truth, after I had finished it, I felt that this image was a little too grungy for BP and had almost forgotten about it. The original photo was taken in the bay just off the Shinnicock Reservation I thought it was a good shot but had'nt asked the parents permission and since the child was so recognizable I did'nt want to run it up onto the web as was. Then one day I was playing around with textures and backgrounds and that's how this image came to be. (lopsided grin) Norm

Mike, the original was a shot a kid surfing and I thought it was quite nice, but his face was too recognizable so I started play'n around. I didnt expect much from it here since it was a little out there by BP standards and I sort of forgot about it! I think it kind of says that BP is beginning to open up to photogs that are into DPA.(smile) Norm
