Hey Ron, Dave, Carla and Steve!Thanks so much for the congrats, but more so for the support and encouragement I get from you guys.(luv ya all)
Now to tell the truth, after I had finished it, I felt that this image was a little too grungy for BP and had almost forgotten about it.
The original photo was taken in the bay just off the Shinnicock Reservation
out at the end of Long Island.
I thought it was a good shot but had'nt asked the parents permission and since the child was so recognizable I did'nt want to run it up onto the web as was.
Then one day I was playing around with textures and backgrounds and that's how this image came to be. (lopsided grin)

Mike, the original was a shot a kid surfing and I thought it was quite nice, but his face was too recognizable so I started play'n around.I didnt expect much from it here since it was a little out there by BP standards and I sort of forgot about it!
I think it kind of says that BP is beginning to open up to photogs that are into DPA.(smile)
