  Terrill, thanks for your wonderful comment. Really like your gallery as well. A question for you. When you convert to black and white, do you use the feature in the Pentax *ist Ds or the editing program? I'd be curious to know as I am starting to like B&W more and more. Thanks.

  Dan, thanks for the compliment!

I actually prefer to convert color images to B&W in PaintShop 5. Then, if necessary I refine with PaintShop 9. I've been very pleased with the range of BW tones in PaintShop; less so with it's work in color. Although, the problem could be with me :)

  Wow Donna you really went back into the archives. I had been doing photography for almost two years at this point. I got my first point and shooter in Oct. of 2003. Untill then it was always interesting to see how many birthdays and Christmasses would be on a roll of film.
