Thanks Laura, wow Maybe I should get out in the evening more. It sure is easier than getting up early enough to catch the nice light.

SPLENDID PHOTOGRAPH!!! Congratulations!!! #1850319

Dan McConoughey September 18, 2005

Terrill, thanks for your wonderful comment. Really like your gallery as well. A question for you. When you convert to black and white, do you use the feature in the Pentax *ist Ds or the editing program? I'd be curious to know as I am starting to like B&W more and more. Thanks.

Terrill Province September 19, 2005

Dan, thanks for the compliment!

I actually prefer to convert color images to B&W in PaintShop 5. Then, if necessary I refine with PaintShop 9. I've been very pleased with the range of BW tones in PaintShop; less so with it's work in color. Although, the problem could be with me :) #1855887

Dramatic lighting, beautiful textures and scene. Congratulations on your win Dan!! #6464400

Dan McConoughey September 17, 2008

Wow Donna you really went back into the archives. I had been doing photography for almost two years at this point. I got my first point and shooter in Oct. of 2003. Untill then it was always interesting to see how many birthdays and Christmasses would be on a roll of film.
thanks for taking the time to look and comment.
