Hi Paul I love this picture - a grand prize winner to me. I always wanted to visit the Li river to shoot the fisherman with their cormorans - but after investigation found out that the place is spoiled by tourists. Did you find a place which is worth to visit? congratulation again for this wonderful capture

To all of you - thank you so much for appreciating my picture. Rob - Unfortunately the Li has been over-fished and there is very little cormorant fishing left. This has led the community to resort to tourism. It is still a well-worth visit if you can manage to put up with the back-packers town of Xing Ping. Sailing down the Li river on a bamboo flat boat pre-dawn is awesome. The topography is stunning. I listened to the Big Blue soundtrack on my iPhone, which compounded the experience.
