I CANNOT believe that this did not make it as a finalist. What is up with that???? Doesn't make sense to me. I would think that it would be even more difficult to be picked as a POTD than a finalist. I know that I've never been picked as a POTD.

YIPPEE! So happy for you and this well deserved Finalist ~ it's one of my all-time favorites!!! It is puzzling why a POTD and not a Finalist the first time around, but it's wonderful to see it recognized all the same!

Also serves to remind us all not to get discouraged. There are sooo many very talented people whose images never seem to get recognized ~ Adrianna Province for one (not so subtle hint, LOL) ~ and should be encouraged to keep submitting! I get such a charge out of "discovering" new talent or the "emerging artist" ~ Dale Ann has obviously been taking unbelievable images for quite some time, and still gets better and better.
