Unbelievable beauty here. I don't often call my husband over to see an image but I just made him come see this one!He said he'd love to see the whole rock as you approached it.

Wow. I haven't subscribed to this newsletter so all this feedback came as quite a surprise! I have rectified that omission. Thank you for all your comments.Laura -- apologize to your husband for me. I don't have a setup shot of the site where I found this hole in the rock. It is in an area of jumbled boulders so I didn't have to climb. But the hole was just above eye level and the ledge around the base of the formation only let me get back a few feet away from the foreground. I will most definitely look through your gallery. One day I'll make it to the Rockies.
