Mountain's Welcome
Uploaded: November 08, 2008
This was one of my 1st hikes after returning to the mountains after several months due to a back injury. I was greeted with some great light-from showers to peaks of sun through the storm clouds. Unfortunately, the compostional elements and lighting didn't quite match for a pure landscape shot, so I decided to amble into the shot for some scale and hopefully added interest. I stacked 2 grad ND filters to help balance the bright sky. 3 stop soft grad ND filter & 3 stop hard edge grad ND filter, f11, Canon 17-40L. Middle Sugarloaf Mountain summit, White Mountains, NH.
Exif: F Number: 16, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/20 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 29.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 30D
