Taken in the late PM in the dead of winter. Two exposures were made; one for the sky and the other for the subject.

Just simply a wonderful picture. To me it doesn't seem like winter but spring. Tony can you give details about camera, filters, film settings etc? THANKS and again congrats. I'm off to take pics for my beginning B&W darkroom class ( well not beginning as I have taken classes thru the years but 21 years ago gave up the camera bag for the diaper bag and as Pink Floyd says,' in the blink of an eye'. So I am looking forward to becoming proficient and hope to make it a serious hobby with showing work at the local art fairs one of my goals. Sorry for rambling but the cinnamon rolls are still baking and I'm getting cameras ready to go shoot. Take care and thanks for any input. Steve #1136322

Some of you wanted some more info regarding this shot. As I already stated, this a merger of two exposures; the sky and the farm. The reason for this was the extreme contrast ratio of the sky and the foreground. The white roof of the barn and house were brand new upgrades by the farmer. I used a color enhancer action in Photoshop that is supposed to mimmick Velvia film. That action can be found via Adobe's website. It is free to download and install. Thank you all for your comments.
