Awesome shot, Lianne. Is she a chocolate lab? #18286

Lianne E. Cook May 26, 2019

Thanks Joy! no, she's a mutt rescued from an early life of abuse. The known part is Rhodesian Ridgeback and I myself think the other part is lab (her personality is very rhodie, yet she's also very gregarious like labs are) but who knows -- her coloring is various shades of redbrown with black 'doberman' markings on her face ...come to think of it, a dobie COULD be the other half LOL! #39982

I love this shot! Congratulations on your win! Her expression is so sweet. I guess if she came from an abusive past she'll always have that little fear of rejection. She's beautiful and I'm glad she has a good home! #61582

I love the photo. I love the dog! I had a little dog that would get the same look whenever I tried to take her photo. She was more interested in me paying attention to her instead of taking pictures.
I did have a Newfoundland puppy at a dog show think my my camera and lens looked like a chew toy. the handler and I both thought it was funny because the puppy had very much the same expression as your pup does here when we did not let her my camera. #63849
