Michelle, Nilesh, Mary, and Carolyn--thank you all for your comments! I printed a horizontal version 8x10 and 12x18 on Epson Velvet Fine Art with my Epson 2200 and it seemed to suit the image well. I haven't printed this version yet... #6159145

Marisol and Ann, thank you for your comments! My slides came out really blue because of the overcast and foggy lighting, so it's always a challenge to get a good color balance on these. #6190716

Thank you Monica! There is no software filter on the vertical versions. The fog itself was enough! The horizontal version may have an extreme "sharpen edges" layer that I came up with accidentally when playing in Photoshop. It gave that one an especially painterly look. The real challenge was arriving at a natural color balance because the slides all came out really blue! I should have used a warming filter when shooting this series. #6216512

Well I was just looking at my new copy of Popular Photographer and I came across a photo that rang bells!!! Then I saw a name and knew for sure I had seen that photo before.
