These two Egret chicks couldn't wait for breakfast. They started "milkin'" their momma before her feathers settled on her return to the nest.
This is a resubmit. I don't think it got the attention it deserved the first time, so I reworked it a bit to clean up the whites and did a bit more cropping.

This is a fabulous photo, Wes. We all see numerous images of water birds but this one is far above the norm.It's always great to see interaction, especially such intimate moments.

I don't know why it was overlooked the first time, but REWORKED? With the amazing detail you have in the white feathers, it couldn't have been too much work. Absolutely perfect exposure IMHO.
