This one's for Rhonda. I'll swap you a pair of Steller's Jays for a pair of those Cardinals, Rhonda :-)

Wonderful shot Gary! I love Steller's Jays! We have quite a few here in the mountain areas and I spend quite a bit of time around them in the summertime!Cathy :) #29163

Doug, I've had a lot of time to spend on line viewing all the gorgeous photos for the last couple weeks. I had too much vacation left and the company insisted that I use it before the end of the year...so I have most of December off. After that you probably won't see so much of me :-) I really appreciate your more than generous comment and thanks for visiting my gallery! #29174

A great shot, Gary, showing this bird in its natural environment. A good proof, that it does not always have to be full format as it is the trend with professional bird photographers very often. I met one of Austria's renowned lately and he said, he never goes into the camouflage tent below 800mm!! You (and Rhonda) have shown me that there is another, perhaps more tender way of doing it.
