Hi Jim, textbook rule of thirds--for colour, texture and contrast. Wonderful shot. #1547

Thanks Colleen, Donnarae, and Jeff.

I was with a group of photographers. The light, the cloud, the sky... all was a blessing.

Every time a car approached along the road, someone in the group would check to see if it was a nice bold color. For example, you might hear "Red car coming!" following by the whiring sound of motor drives as the car reached optimal position. It was kind of humorous.

I could not stop shooting long after the light was gone. But this one was one of my favorites.

I have a few morning shots in the exact same position. If is kind of fun to see the difference. #1556

Dear Jim, Tractor on a Lavender road is an exceptionally great photo. The curving lines of contrasting colors create a 3D effect as they lead the eye through the photograph to the tractor and background. The contrast of the 3 sections streghten the entire picture. The next picture that I would like to see is a close up of the lavender plant please. thanks, Donnarae #1577
