Description


It was extremely cold in Grand Forks yesterday (25 degrees below zero), so I stayed in the house playing with my macro lens. Here is one of the images I captured of Frosty the Snowman in a drop of water!

Sigma 50mm f/2.8 EX DG macro lens; 1/200; ISO 400; f/9; slightly cropped at the bottom; Canon 580EX Speedlite flash.

Last time I was that cold I was on the Hudson Bay photographing PB's. Ron I noticed the the Frosty was upside down in the BG is that to enable an upright image in the drop. Awesome and you are the master at this Ronald. Drop me some hints via email. #5188519
