Nick, the minute I saw your photo of the day I was speachless! This is a one in a lifetime picture and as you said, you were lucky to be there and capture it for us. This is the closest thing of being there yourself and I can only imagine the thrill you were in when shooting it.I passed the image link to a good friend of mine, Aharon, who created an Israeli mega-stamp titled Noah's Ark, showing the ark on a hillside, surrounded by sea water and a full rainbow embraces it. The difference is that in your picture, Noah and the animal pairs have landed and left the ark towards inland already. So, my title for your image is "Noah's Ark". I just love it! Congratulations! #4542196

Dear users-photographers of betterphoto. I am impressed of your positive feedback! I appreciate every single word you have written about my photograph.I am glad that you like my photo and your kind words give power to continue shooting. Honestly , your messages mean so much for me.I am new to photography and I need some support. So thank you so much for that support that you offer me. I photograph for almost 3 years now , starting from zero , and when I was taking this shot , my heart was beating like crazy. It is the second time I felt that while shooting. I had to set the camera settings , in order to catch it in time. And then , a huge smile and relief ... I finaly made it on time.RC Fritz July 23, 2007

I have learned that my most meaningful photos are 99% being aware of my surroundings and 10% equipment. Nick, you did a great job of fulfilling the awareness AND using the equipment. I, too, am a beginning photographer and I can appreciate the feeling you got when shooting this one.Just keep seeing the unusual in life and you will definitely be one of the best.
Thanks for sharing.
