Bunny Snow August 27, 2008

Beautiful capture and wonderful composition and tonality. Was this taken in the wild?

Did you know that the polar bean has been listed as an endangered species? The listing took place only after a federal judge found the Administration guilty of delaying polar bear protection. So, the bear is listed, but not protected from the drilling of oil, oil spills and future contaminated, food or from roads put in to reach rigs, or normally occurring radioactive material –brine spoils which are brought to the surface and are highly radioactive and laden with toxic metals and dangerous organic compounds?

In fact, the Administration is only giving the public another 15 days to put comments into the record on the Endangered Species Act, which they are weakening. They are putting in place regulations without external expert advise of wildlife scientists and curtailing public input, which is against the National Environmental Policy Act.

This capture looks to me like it was taken in a one location and through cut and paste put into the foreground of a natural location.

Looking at the right and left forepaws, it seems to me there is an overlap of snow which appears transparent as it hits the left forepaw.

Still, the lighting direction matches, which is important! The DD work must have been challenging at best.

Congratulations.

Congratulations #9018994
