Autumn Leaves
Uploaded: October 25, 2006
This is a collage made up of five different leaves, all picked from our Manchurian Pear Tree on the same day.
After each leaf was picked, I held it in front of the lens, set the camera onto 'Macro' and then pointed it directly to the sun. Each image was then adjusted, identically, using Photoshop Elements 3 - saturation was set to +25 and then the lighting and contrast levels were adjusted until I felt the image looked its best. All of the images were cropped to a size of 2200 x1500 pixels. They were then placed side by side on a blank canvas in Paintshop Pro Version 9, a 5 pixel black border was added, and then the image was resized to permit uploading.
