Description

Painting with light, using a mag lite flash light, 100mm macro lens and a 30second exposure. Move the light around to create the effects, lingering longer in areas I wanted more brightly lit like the end of the brush. Custom white balance used to achieve the tonal adjustments. Very little post processing (some spot removal and sharpening) Everything else as shot.

This is one of those 'why didn't I think of that' photos. But you don't
'think' when inspiration comes, it
just happens, and it happened to you.
Then, of course, comes the painstaking
execution of the idea. I love this.

I know I'm a little late here, but I had to stop by and say... this is a beautiful photo. SO artistic, and you got the technicals perfectly. An inspiration.
