Very creative ... not to mention a little scary! Well done :) #73135Murry Grigsby November 08, 2003
That is such a CROC, Piper :0) Nice work!! So how do you like PS8?? #260959Piper Lehman November 08, 2003
Hey! I'm still learning the differences between Elements 2 and full PS, so the new stuff on PS8 is even cooler to me. I never used PS 6 or 7, so it's quite a leap for me.The new browser is excellent, and the RAW converter is pretty cool too. Everything works a lot smoother, and it doesn't seem to freeze up as much. I haven't even begun to get into some of the layer stuff and photo filters, etc. I'm still trying to get acclimated!! #261007

Cool shot, Piper! #261597Jean Papo November 11, 2003
Wow, what a shot! Call me stupid, Piper, but is this a real croc, PS work and all? Whether it is, or isn't, pretty amazing - I love what you've done with this! #264028Piper Lehman November 11, 2003
Ha! No, it's not real. THis is a toy, courtesy of my nephew (and studio assistant), Liam. He has some great props! The only PS work is the color of the lighting (pink) and the contrast. The rest is in-camera. Glad you like it. I didn't even use my new studio table for this (it's too cluttered with mail and other junk right now!) Took this right here on my computer desk just for fun. #264053Jean Papo November 11, 2003
Hahahaha, that's even funnier then! What kind of studio table did you get? I'm using a dining room table but is is too low, higher than my reach from the floor, lower than my reach sitting down. It's driving me nuts! I didn't know they made studio tables! #264060Piper Lehman November 11, 2003
Mine's a Britek table. Got it on Ebay for $110 plus shipping. It's pretty cool. I also bought a piece of clear Plexiglas for the surface part so I could light my props from underneath. Haven't really played with the whole setup enough yet to go on and on about it, but it definitely keeps me from making excuses and being a procrastinator! You can see the table on my web site under STUFF. I think I bought this on ebay from Steve Kaeser backgrounds under the studio lighting category. #264084Jean Papo November 11, 2003
Thanks, Piper! Gives me some new stuff to dream about! Those are great ideas..regarding Plexiglas, etc. Love to see how the pix using that turn out! #264325Kathleen Clemons December 19, 2003

Congratulations, Piper! #303436Peggy Wolff December 22, 2003
Congratulations Piper! Great shot! I have a couple of comments...first of all my great nephew is named Liam and I LOVE the name. I have his photo in my gallery under Timeless Treasure. Second of all, I bought some backgrounds from Steve Kaeser and was REALLY dissapointed. He said they were extra thick theater quality and when I got them you could see right thru them. I can only use them if I have a black or white seemless paper behind them. Anyway, I am glad to see this shot amoung the winners! #303910Leanne M.E. Boyd December 22, 2003
