because there are Christian Arabs..

I just want to clarify that the act
of covering the face is a religious thing not a cultural thing..

Nice picture!! Love how her eyes stand out.
I lived in Saudi Arabia for 5 years(97-2001) and I saw that alot. Westerners didn't have to put the vail on though. #2818868

Now that the contest is over...let's unveil the secret of this photo. There is no arab woman, it a friend of mine, a male friend. Only the resemblance with Steve McCurry's "Afgan Woman" made me call it this way. #2818893
