Waiting in the Wings

A student relaxes in the corridor between the new Quadracci Pavilion and the old main building of the Milwaukee Art Museum. I liked the way his bent back echoed the curved spines of the corridor's support beams.

Very well done, David. The exposure is great, the composition is, too. I like the tiny speck of people at the end of the corridor. Beautifully seen! #406508Rhonda Smith March 10, 2006

I have to "fess up" when I saw this image the first time, I tried to emulate it. Not nearly as good though. Must be that special flair of yours. Congrats on POTD! #2758907Nan Fischer May 13, 2006
Excellent! I love the subject matter, being an architecture freak myself. I like the simple colors and the way his dark clothes are rmirrored in the dark spot in the background. Congratulations on POTD! #2758925RC Fritz May 13, 2006

Exceptional interpretation of the Calatrava, David. There are so many images taken of this building that it's difficult to capture it in a way that's unique -- you did it! In what class did you get POTD?Mary Clarke May 13, 2006
