Description

I combined three shots taken at the eye doctor in PSCS--two shots of the eye chart, one in focus and one out of focus and a third shot of their phoropter machine (with the BG removed) over the combined eye chart. I make no claim that the final image is medically correct (just fun) :0)

THanks Don! One other thing, since they don't use the old paper eye chart anymore but project one on the wall via a mirror all the letters were backwards in my photos so I had to flip them horizontally in PSCS to put them back the way our eyes like to see them :0) #2487357

Thanks ALL! I’ve just complete my left eye’s cataract surgery and got the patch off this morning. Wow, it’s like someone went out and put black outlines around everything. I can’t believe how clear I can see in that eye now and I read the eye chart at 20/30 (LOL) this morning. I’ll have the right eye done the 30th and should be back to (better than) normal. I probably will need some kind of glasses for reading and close-up work Anyway I appreciate the comments and how appropriate to have this image show up today :0) #2776121

Thanks Corne! I recently had lens implants after cataract surgery (hence the image) and it's the best thing I've ever done. My wife claims I now have bionic eyes and I guess in a way she is correct :0) #4527347
