Walk Through The Fire

Description

Nature ~ The Matt's Creek Fire went on to burn 11,020 acres of our lush Jefferson National Forest. It was the biggest fire event I can ever remember. In the evening down by the river it was both sad & yet beautiful all at the same time... This is a panorama of the fire taken early Monday@ 12:23am & the portrait was taken on Thursday.... I remembered a movie poster I saw awhile back & was inspired to try something similar. The character was based on a 1936 archaeologist who traveled the world looking for ancient relics. My husband hadn't shaved for 4 days so the timing was perfect. I love creating vintage photography & although the fire was devastating I was pleased to create a good memory that week. Layered in PSE.
