This was B&W before it got to the website. Now it has a reddish'brown hue - anybody got a solution??

Great composition! Water as just the right level. Does it have the reddish brown tone when you open the file on your computer with your browser? #1742079Oscar J. Pung July 03, 2020
Cool shot and reflections Ed. It does have a tint to it. I've not had that problem...yet. Curious to see if anyone has a solution. #11815300Ed Lauderdale July 03, 2020
Thank you both!! The answer to you question, Janet, is NO. That's what so frustrating. I have a thread up in Community - some others are also having a problem. I tried one of the solutions (convert to PNG) offered to no avail. #11815316Jeff Robinson July 03, 2020

Ed, is this a straight conversion or did you reduce the color by saturation adjustment? If by saturation have you calibrated your monitor? If straight BW convert then there shouldn't be a tint, but by de-saturation which can give warm tone depending on actual color of subject (sepia) comes to mind as a conversion. Hope this helps. Still looks great. A FAV #11815371Ed Lauderdale July 03, 2020
Randall this a straight conversion. Up until about two weeks ago I didn't have this problem. the only place I've seen it so far is on this website. I tend to saturate rather the de-saturate. Thank you for the thought. #11815413Christine Greenspan July 03, 2020
Fantastic image, Ed! I know you're not happy with the red cast, but it's still a great pic. Awesome eye to see this! #11815458Ed Lauderdale July 05, 2020
