Great light and clarity, Ed. That place looks fantastic. #11807618Ed Lauderdale June 02, 2020
Thanks, Bojan! It's an old mining town way up in the mountains on a dirt road. It's turning into a tourist area. By the way, that's my son looking in the store window. The store was closed. #11807645Terry Korpela June 02, 2020

Nicely Done! That's a place that my wife and I would love to visit. Exactly where is it located? #11808193Ed Lauderdale June 06, 2020
First, Thanks Robert and Donna! Ok, get your Colorado map and find Buena Vista (almost dead center of the state - US 24 and US 285). South of Buena Vista on US 285 two or three miles turn right(West) on State Rd 162(goes from paved to maintained) and follow to the end. The area around this intersection is pretty busy. Hope this helps. This is a good day trip from either Salida or Buena Vista. Lots of beautiful scenery all around!! #11808519Robert/Donna Green June 06, 2020
Thanks! Ed, I will add this destination to our bucket travel list. More so due to the fact we have yet to venture into Colorado besides a stopover in the Denver airport. (smile) #11808521Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
