This image was taken in bright sunshine and filled with vivid colors. First, I changed the image to black and white. Using Jai Johnson's textures and painting techniques, I removed unwanted features and replaced them with the rocks, the stormy sea, and my own moon image. Having the light from the moon washing across the raging sea "explained" the bright areas on the filagree stonework caused by the original sunlight.
