King of Fetch

My dog has been jumping over a short jump and playing fetch more this week than ever! My husband is so patient with me and threw the ball umpteen times throughout the week as I say... 'just one more time' ! Panning is something I really wanted to work on. Tutorials and tips from others really helped, but keepers are few and far between. I like this one the most as he is looking into the frame, lots of action in the legs and the nose and eye are fairly sharp. I tried 2nd curtain sync with a flash and did not have success with that. Also a single shot seemed to work better for me than continuous. Settings were F8 ss 1/15 iso 100 24-105 lens at 47mm no flash used a tripod. I also tried using a 50-250 at 200mm and a 50mm lens.
