Spent a very long and difficult day with the horses yesterday. Sometimes nature is not kind, but the horses are still amazing. After the young mare lost her life, we watched as all the bands in the area converged around her, lined up and one by one the bands walked to her to say goodby and pay tribute. This image is my tribute to a beautiful young mare. Salt River wild horses
