Rounding out a trio of images from the Library of Congress, a view of the impressive mezzanine level which surrounds the central Great Hall atrium. I pressed myself into a corner for this 14mm wide-angle view down two aisles of the mezzanine. 10/16 1st - ManMade. 12/9/16 POTD

Pat - surprisingly, no -- I went in right at opening time (probably 20th in line to get in), but I did rush straight up here to this level, while most of the initial crowds were still on the lower level. (There is actually one person in the image--a staff member, over against the far right wall, talking to a visitor - I waited until a column obscured the visitor :) #11544315
