was the BG naturally tark like that? or did you use some technique to black it out? I recently took a picture where the subject was in bright sunlight and the background was in shade. and almost got it black but not quite, and was wondering how to do this. #2225966

First of all, thanks a lot for all your wonderful comments! I really appreciate it.

Scott, the background, which is an old wooden house (about 300 years old), was quite dark, both the wood itself and the wall behind. The boy (my son!) is looking out from a portico. He is being held by my husband kneeling
underneath.
