Description

This was taken from the top of Steptoe Butte in The Palouse region of southwestern Washington state. The area is known for its picturesque, rolling hills of wheat, barley, lentils and peas. The contours and pockets of the landscape are particularly lovely in the slanting light of sunrise and sunset.
