I love the lines of the fences and the shadows of the fences. The wonderful old fishing shack just sets off this lonely lost place. Very nice. Congratulations on your Second Place winning. #10962112Deborah Lewinson February 01, 2014

Thank you for your comments everyone.Winter is the best time to go there. Hardly anyone around when it's cold outside. I spotted a snowy owl sitting on a sand knoll in the dunes near the northern part of the park about 3 weeks ago. But I didn't have a lens long enough to reach the owl even though it was perched only about 40 yards away from me. The park rangers have informed me that it is easier to spot the snowy owls in the southernmost part of the park near the Barnegat Inlet and the bay. If you do decide to go there, it would probably be best to walk there using the road for launching kayaks in the bay. Bring binoculars and a long lens with you. You might get lucky! Charles #10962264
