f/4.5, 1/90s, 36 mm (35 mm equiv 58 mm), ISO 400. I wonder if I should have moved in a little closer to eliminate the "black" shadowed areas. I also wonder if lines play too prominant a role.

Love the colours and lovely shapes which look great together but you have gone and put doubts in my head about the lines. Love the lines on the green which are bold and great shape but maybe the lines on the red are conflicting. Also maybe we are being too fussy!! I think the shadow is fine. #2102153

The assignment was to find and capture a picture where COLOR was the MAIN compositional element (thus my concern about lines). Otherwise, the lines are pleasant and echo the curve of the leaf. #2104049
