Golden Age

I photographed this young girl at a new Renaissance Faire in Simi Valley, California, known as the Nottingham Festival. She was gathering small sticks and placing them in this bucket. She was looking at her mother who was trying to get her to smile ... when she finally smiled I knew I had the photo I wanted.
I removed the distracting background by adding the "goldenage" texture from French Kiss, and then turned the image into a painting using Snap Art 3.
