**THE OTHER SIDE BECKONS**

Here are my favorite two that I shot today on my own personal Photowalk. Actually, when the kids were small we would always take numerous "Leaf Walks" and pick up all kind of colorful leaves and other interesting things that fell to the ground. Those walks were always welcomed and hours of good fun outside. Today I just went out for a bit because most of the leaves are gone and the ones that are still on the trees don't look so good. We had our first snowfall of the winter a couple of nights ago so all is on the downhill side and it was a challenge to focus on something other than the leaves. #1549215Dale Hardin October 19, 2013
Love you DOF, Debbie. Like both, but that knot shot is super. #10876484Susan Williams October 19, 2013
I also love that knotty hole in the wood and the lines and colors present. Great eye to capture that. The complementary green on the other side is very appealing and adds a lot of interest.I also love the single leaf against the diagonals lines and colors in the background. Very pretty and unusual Phall Photo. #10876611

both shots are well captured. I couldn't pick between them. great job. #10876972Michael Kelly October 20, 2013
Both are excellent, but I love texture shots and the wood calls out to me. Adding this one to favorites. #10877354Stephen Shoff October 20, 2013
I like the unique color contrast of your "Red, White and Blue of Fall". #10877608Peter W. Marks October 21, 2013
Debbie. This has gone to my 'favorites' also. Before I had read down through the comments and your explanation I was, for a second or two, puzzling over the title and through a thought process that will possibly baffle some folk I found myself saying one of Winston Churchill's famous quotes.Beth Spencer October 22, 2013
Debbie, I really like them both, great finds! #10878713Deborah Lewinson January 01, 2014
