Pigeon on the Deck

Uploaded: April 18, 2012

Description

I took this on a bright sunny afternoon (March 13th) while on my lunch hour. I was walking on the ramp that wraps around the Fox River, and when I was walking back to my car, I noticed this Pigeon on the edge of the deck looking for food. I took this with my Nikon D70s, 50-300VR lens at 155mm, ISO 320, 1/250s, F/5.6, +1.O EV, and Auto 0. I took this with the sun to my back and shining on the Pigeon which brought out the colors and processed in PhotoShop 7.

I love the expressin you have captured here Nanette! This bird is ready to fly in a split second!
Marvelous color and detail, you did a good job with this one! It is good to see someone still using photoshop 7, I cut my teeth on that program! #1457383

Thank you. I still use Photoshop 7 as well as Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and Nikon's photo software. Between all 3, I am able to do wonders and have fun at the same time. #11410161
