Canon 40D - f/4, 10mm (with Canon 10-22mm lens) 6.0s, tripod. Straight from the camera except some healing brush at the bottom where passerby's walked during my 6 second shutter :)

Amazing angle and colors; I have lived in Strasbourg for many years and have seen the cathedral in all shapes but this is unique; great shot!

Thank you all for the kind comments.
There is a production group that sets up lighting & sound and perform 2 shows a night during July & August. I forget what piece of music that was playing as the lighting flashed & danced across the Cathedral. They have so many lights placed or pointed at so many spires, sculptures, doors/windows, and all over the walls that change color and it is a real piece of moving/morphing art. It is truly amazing and worth the $$ of a ticket to Strasbourg just to see it :)
The sky in the image appears orange because the low clouds were picking up the colors from the lighting on Notre Dame.
