I've tried to capture lady bugs for some (gulp) 40 years now...and have never, ever accomplished that much detail in her teeny-weeny, itsy-bitsy face!!! I assume you have perfect vision, because even with good equipment, I cannot focus this sharply and I haven't even tried such tiny subjects. What equipment are you using for your macro work, and do you wear contact lenses, or is your vision 20/20?
