Love In Bloom

Uploaded: July 22, 2011

Description

The original flower was from my own garden earlier in the year. I also added a couple different textures (one with writing depicting a love letter) to this with different blending modes and also masking out flower somewhat. End product used pixel bender and lighten whole photo.

I'm not good with colors but can't help but notice how the combination of the purple and green create a strong statement. #9547865

A very striking presentation Patricia. Your addition of texture and writing gives the image new meaning.

This would look good as a square format also. #9551286

Thanks Dale and Irene. Irene I will try the square format as you suggested. Dale I thought the green complimented the purple flower, I tried different colors but this one stood out more. #9568997
