Circles, lines and wonderful magnifying droplets. This capture had staying power in my mind and I was glad to see it received a second place win. Well done, Stephen. Congratulations on your lovely creation. #9635706Stephen A. Liverman August 27, 2011
Thanks everyone for your kind comments. This photo proves the truth that the best photos are often not of the things we intended to shoot in the first place. I took a long wet hike to Triple Falls in the Columbia River Gorge on a rainy morning and was disappointed by a rather 'blah' view of the falls. Only then did I stop to see that every leaf and blade of grass around me was covered in shimmering droplets. It was one of my best, most interesting days of shooting. #9637679Terry Cervi August 28, 2011
