Old Steps

This is one of the many winding stair paths through the old mining town of Jiu Fen, located just west of Taipei, Taiwan. Gold & copper was what they mined here during and shortly after Japanese occupation. It is no longer a mining area these day. But small shops and eateries line the street got people coming back for memories and fun.
