Tomb

Uploaded: February 06, 2011

Description

President Wilson's tomb. I've shot the tomb many times from the back, when winter brings beautiful light through the stained glass windows.
HDR combination of 3 dark-ish exposures. Transform stretching, Topaz layer, High Pass layer, Curves.
In keeping with the gothic style of the building, Wilson's name is not on the face of the tomb; instead, symbols (carved in the limestone) are used:
across the lower part, left to right are the New Jersey State Seal (he was governor), the United States Seal (for his presidency)
and Princeton University's seal (he was president of Princeton.) In the top left and right corners of the image, two entwined W's are visible.

Exif: F Number: 5, ISO: 200, FocalLength: 10.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 7D
