Description

f/6.3, 1/200, ISO800, kit lens, shot through the glass (that's right folks, I wasn't in the tank!) :-)

I took the kids to Walmart today so I could take some pictures of the back to school aisle (LOVE it!!!). But it was so picked over that it left me uninspired. So we were about to leave and the kids saw the fishtanks so we veered off over to them where I suddenly felt inspired again. :-) Here's the best one of the "shoot".

Cathy, I did feel uncomfortable about it but I see so many people on BP who take their cameras everywhere with them that I decided it was worth a try. I felt especially uncomfortable on the Back to Scool aisle since it was packed with parents trying to actually buy stuff and there I was trying to take pictures of it all. :-) I was much more comfortable with the fish. Thank you so much Heather and Tiffani!!! It was a hard shoot because the tank had several other fish in it as well as pumps, etc. I was also manually focusing since I'm procrastinating and haven't sent my camera in to be fixed yet (the auto-focus has been broken since mid July). :-)

I have this little guy in my own personal tank at home! His cheeks do seem to pop and than you have to wait for them to heal and grow back and his are never the same size since he pops them on the coral or rocks.

This is a great capture of a wonderful fish.
