Barred Island Ferns
Uploaded: August 09, 2010
Midafternoon take in deep woods in a Deer Isle, Me. preserve. Wanted to use the swath of ruffly, lighter green ferns as a strong foreground against the dark vertical evergreens behind, thus moving eye and energy from foreground to background (and displaying the common and lovely relationship between these two types of woodland vegetation).
