This is not only cute, but it's a work of art in using color to direct the eye to the subject. The purple and green are complimentary colors and make a wonderful backdrop for the yellow chick, which captures our eyes and holds them. Add to this the color of the chick's mouth --red --which stops the eye from leaving this image.
I don't know if you thought of all this when creating this splendid image, but you pulled it off with expertise. As I said, this is more than cute, it is perfect!
