I ran across a field trial for coursing the other day, so I thought I'd practice my panning shots there. Boy, were these dogs fast!

I think you and your camera are faster than the dog. This is an amazing shot, I have tried with more than 14 different setting, no luck for me. I was reading a book of John Hedgecoe, he got some amazing shots. I just love this one....... #2020663

Thanks Nemil! :) I was using a couple of different settings during this race, depending on how close they were to me and how fast they were running. But I have a few where I wasn't fast enough and they ran out of the frame too. :D Good luck with your shooting! -K
