Description

Part one of a short series. Taken during travels while visiting Montezuma Wildlife Preserve in NY. Although this brush fire was purposely set by Park Rangers for environmental control, to see it close up and feel the heat was very scary!
Correction: Taken with Minolta A2 not the 7D.

Surely, a nice photo. I just wanted to add that this kind of wild fire is a scene very common for springs in Latvia. Latvians are fond of burning the last year's grass or fog (or kuula, as it is called in Latvian). So, if you'd like to take some more pictures of the kind, taking care as well, you can probably guess where to go.:)) #1701684
