Caught in the glow

A beautiful moment during my walk when an early morning jogger ran through the Empty Sky Memorial at Liberty State Park, NJ. I wanted to capture the view of the Freedom Tower framed by the beam of early morning light reflecting as an arch on the stainless steel walls. The sudden presence of the runner caught in the glow added a special symbolism to this site. The Empty Sky memorial honors the memory of the 749 New Jersey residents that tragically lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Photo taken with Nikon D5600.
