Purple Onions

My challenge last week was "One Color" I chose purple-ish. This was not my intended subject this week, however, with so much hurricane activity going on I can think of little else. So while in the grocery store, I thought I would take advantage of the vegetables begging to be chosen as my subject. It's not that I'm a huge fan of onions, but I love seeing the pretty purple ones. I think they call them red onions, but I like to think they are more purple. I used my Samsung phone camera & my settings were: F2.2 1/30 sec iso 80. I added a texture in Topaz.

A great choice for your "purple-ish" challenge, Sara. Love the variations of color, fine detail and those fine papery skins! Great job! Congrats on your Silver! #1698629Sara B Coffey October 30, 2017
